| *Contributor initial comment* | *More vocal in STFC computing meetings to defend the need for using non-IE browsers while accessing various internal STFC websites.* |
| *PPD IT forum open discussion* | STFC business web browser is IE and can be access via all Windows desktop and laptops. User who do not have access to a personal Windows desktop or Laptop, can access IE via the terminal server. I know that FireFox and Chrome are used on Windows desktops and laptops in the department and users haven’t reported compatibility issues |

| ^ | I attend ITSDG (IT Service Delivery Group) where I always defend PPD, however ITSDG gets implementation of IT policy from ITOB (IT Operations Board). There is two ways communication, between ITDG and ITOB, however my impact is limited. PPD’s ITOB reps may be better placed to ensure non-IE browsers are supported for internal STFC websites. |
